January 26th 2015

Monday- We played our ping pong tournament. That was super fun. For dinner a member brought up chipotle. After dinner we went and got haircuts from a member in the ward.
Tuesday- We had an awesome day. We tracted in the morning and found a new potential investigator. Later in the night we had a lesson with one of our investigators. We had an awesome lesson. He finally accepted a baptism date. He was being stubborn with not realizing that he has already received his answer that this church was true. After the lesson i looked at my companion and said if he doesn't do it on his own God will compel him like losing his job.
Wednesday- We spent almost the whole day tracting to find a bigger teaching pool. Not much luck. Later that night we had a sweet lesson with some of our other investigators.
Thursday- Weekly planning is always a blast. We had two lessons cancel on us so we were left out to dry that night
Friday- We had district meeting and then spent some time contacting referrals. That night we had our ward chili cook off. All the missionaries in the ward got to be judges. We got to try 12 different chili's. It was filling. That was super fun. Our ward is awesome.
Saturday- We had another lesson with the investigator we met with on Tuesday. Come to find out he got fired from his job. I felt so bad. My companion said next time don't be so bold with what you ask of God. We taught him hope. We hope that he will get a job. He has got a good attitude about it though. We also taught a less active a lesson. We read the talk "approaching the throne of god with confidence". great lesson.
Sunday- We had church and then we went to dinner and visited some members that needed some help.
Great week. We get transfer calls this Sunday. I hope i am staying. I love this area and ward.

Are we all repenting?
Anyone who is repenting. No matter how bad he has been, if he is repenting he is a righteous man.  There is hope for him. And no matter how good he has been all his life, if he is not repenting, he is a wicked man.  The difference is which way you are facing.  The man on the top of the stairs facing down is much worse off than the man on the bottom step who is facing up.  The direction we are facing, that is repentance; and that is what determines whether we are good or bad - Hugh Nibley
